Location: Bida, Niger State
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations of the Hotel and Restaurant.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance department.
- Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures of the Hotel and Restaurant.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems in the premises.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Ensure all subsidiaries electricals and machines are running well and effectively.
- Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- Will be an interface between the department team and the management.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Must ensure the hotel occupants enjoy a top notch service during their stay.
Requirements
- Minimum of BSc degree in Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
- Must reside in Bida or be ready to relocate.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance in at least a 3-Star Hotel.
- Good understanding of the different technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge facilities management, machines and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
